I am happy to make a Screencast video to how you can set up scales in your dwg.Typically, once you set your units by picking the correct template or by using -dwgunits, you then draw at 1:1` in modelspace for your geometry.Your paperspace layouts are also one to one representations of the output size. If this is the case, plotting should be set at 1:1.The viewport is where you can set the scale of your drawing relative to the output size. This means if you double-click into a viewport, you can then use the scale list to apply the proper zoom ratio to set the scale for that viewport.
